Nebraska’s Junk Jaunt® is MUCH MORE than just a Garage Sale. It is 350 miles of great scenery, friendly people, good food and treasure’s galore!
The Junk Jaunt® route is along on Hwy’s 11, 91 and 2 in Central Nebraska, with 33 participating towns and approx. 450 vendors in 2020. The takes you to the Nebraska Sandhills which provides excellent Fall scenery as well as many historical places to check out. The North Side Bar in Burwell has 100 years of rodeo photos on display and Fort Hartsuff is an old frontier army post located near Ord.
Many local churches and Fire departments offer homemade goodies for Shoppers. The town of Elba is known for their Kolache, Loup City features Polish Food and you can purchase Bison meat or feast on a Bison Burger near Broken Bow.
Each town offers private garage/yard sales selling everything from Grandma’s Hankies to barn finds to clothes and trinkets! Junk Jaunt® Shopper Guides, showing a map of each town and a list of sales being held in that town, are available at most convenience stores along the route, or may be pre-ordered on our website and mailed to you prior to Junk Jaunt® A digital version will be available for purchase on our website after September 15.
There are many Bed and Breakfasts, motels and campgrounds along the way. A list of lodging places can be found on our website www.junkjaunt.com.
Vendors are prepared to provide safe places to shop. Bring your friends, trailers and camera’s and be ready for a fun weekend – September 25,26 and 27.
